1.What PassionByBeauty is — and what it is not

PassionByBeauty is a comparison-first beauty discovery platform. It helps you discover beauty products, compare sellers, compare similar products, understand ingredient and safety signals, and click out to trusted external sellers or affiliate partners. We operate in Europe, anchored in the Netherlands, and prices are shown in euro at launch.

We do not sell products directly. There is no cart, no checkout and no payment of any kind on this platform. Every purchase happens on an external seller's own website, under that seller's terms, prices, availability, delivery, returns and customer service. When you click through to a seller you leave PassionByBeauty and deal with that seller directly; we are not a party to that transaction and we do not take orders, hold stock or process payments.

2.Eligibility and your account

You can browse PassionByBeauty without an account. An account unlocks the optional Beauty Profile, saved products and comparisons, and the ability to post reviews. To open one you must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and you must register with accurate details and keep them up to date.

We verify your email address with a one-time code sent to it, and we use the same one-time-code method for password resets. You can also turn on two-factor authentication for an extra step at sign-in. Your password is stored only as an argon2id hash, which cannot be reversed — that means nobody, including us, can look up your password; it can only be reset.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password and any one-time codes to yourself, and contact us if you think someone else has access. Staying signed in relies on a strictly necessary session cookie; signing out or clearing it ends the session.

3.Acceptable use

Use the platform for personal, non-commercial discovery and comparison. In short: do not break the law, do not harm other people, and do not interfere with how the platform works for everyone else.

Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone.
• Access, or try to access, accounts, data or systems you are not entitled to, or work around security, moderation or rate limits.
• Interfere with, overload or disrupt the platform or the servers it runs on.
• Systematically scrape, harvest, copy or republish our comparison content. There is no public API for third-party use, and automated collection is not permitted.
• Upload malware, or use the platform to distribute spam or unsolicited advertising.

4.Reviews and other content you post

Signed-in users can submit written reviews and attach photos and video. Review scores run from 0 to 100. Your review is your own opinion and your own experience — it is not ours, and publishing it does not mean we endorse it.

You keep ownership of everything you post. By submitting a review you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reformat and display that review and its photos or video on the platform for as long as it stays published. Media files you upload are stored on our own servers.

Reviews must follow these rules:

• Write from your own genuine, first-hand experience of the product, and be honest about it.
• Only upload photos or video you took or clearly have the right to use. Do not post images of other people without their permission.
• No unlawful, hateful, harassing or privacy-invading content, and no personal details about other people.
• No medical claims, diagnoses or promises about what a product will treat or cure.
• No spam, advertising, referral or affiliate links, and no reviews written in exchange for payment or free product without saying so plainly.

5.How comparison data works, and its limits

Offers, prices and availability shown on PassionByBeauty are collected from sellers and partners and are displayed for comparison only. They are not an offer from us, and they can change at any moment — a price can move, an offer can end and stock can run out between the time we collect the data and the time you look at it.

So treat what you see here as a starting point, not a guarantee. Always check the final price, shipping cost, taxes, currency and availability on the seller's own site before you buy. We do not guarantee that any listing is current, complete or error-free, or that a seller will honour a price shown here.

If you have filled in a Beauty Profile, comparisons can highlight things relevant to what you entered, such as ingredients you asked to avoid. These highlights are aids to help you look in the right place — they depend on what you entered and on the ingredient data we hold, and they are not a verdict on whether a product suits you.

6.Affiliate links and sponsored placements

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one, we may earn a commission from the seller, at no extra cost to you — you pay the seller's normal price. When you click out we record the click, including the product, offer, seller, your region and device type, and your account if you are signed in, so that commissions can be attributed correctly.

Some placements are sponsored. Those always carry a visible "Sponsored" label in your language, so you can tell paid placement from organic results at a glance.

Ranking is not for sale. We do not accept payment to change the order of a comparison, and whether a link earns us commission does not move a product up or down in organic results.

7.Ingredient and safety information

Ingredient and safety information on PassionByBeauty is informational only. It summarises publicly available ingredient knowledge to help you compare products. It is not medical advice, not a safety certification, and not a substitute for professional judgement.

The allergies, skin concerns and ingredients-to-avoid in your Beauty Profile are optional and supplied by you. Any alert we show depends on both the accuracy of what you entered and the completeness of the ingredient data we hold, so never read the absence of an alert as an all-clear.

If you have allergies, a skin condition, are pregnant, are treating your skin, or are simply unsure whether a product is right for you, speak to a qualified professional such as a doctor, pharmacist or dermatologist before using it. Patch-test a new product before applying it fully, and follow the instructions and ingredient list on the packaging you actually receive — that packaging is authoritative over anything shown here.

8.Intellectual property

The platform itself belongs to us or our licensors: the software, design, layout, the way comparisons are presented and organised, and the PassionByBeauty name and branding.

Brand names, product names, packaging images, product descriptions and other seller-supplied material belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification and comparison purposes only. Their appearance does not imply any partnership or endorsement beyond what we state on the page.

You are welcome to link to and share individual pages. You may not copy, systematically extract or republish substantial parts of the platform or its comparison content. Your own reviews remain yours, subject to the licence described above.

9.Changes to the service and to these terms

PassionByBeauty is under active development. We may add, change or remove features, categories and pages, and parts of the platform may be unavailable from time to time, including during maintenance.

We may also update these terms — for example when a feature changes or a new one launches. The current version always lives on this page, and if a change is significant we will make it visible on the platform rather than quietly swapping the text. Continuing to use PassionByBeauty after an update means you accept the updated terms. If you do not, stop using the platform and contact us to close your account.

10.Suspension and termination

You can stop using PassionByBeauty at any time. There is no self-service delete button and no self-service data export in the product today: to close your account, or to ask what data is connected to it, send us a request through the contact page and we will handle it from there.

We may suspend, limit or close an account, or remove content, if these terms are broken, if the account is used to harm other users or the platform, or if we are required to act. Reviews are moderated before publication and may be declined or removed later. Where it is reasonable and appropriate to do so, we will tell you why.

11.Limitation of liability

PassionByBeauty is provided as it is and as it is available. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or complete.

We do not control the sellers we link to. We are not responsible for their products, prices, stock, delivery, returns, refunds, warranties, customer service, or how they handle your information once you are on their site. Any dispute about a purchase is between you and that seller.

We also do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of comparison data, ingredient information, or reviews written by other users. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from relying on information shown here or from your dealings with a seller.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and nothing in them takes away consumer rights you have under the law that applies to you.
